Video Talk:1legcall
Message from User:Justin.ohanessian
Hello, My name is Justin Ohanessian and I am the creator of 1legcall and TalkFree, Inc. I am here to defend my contributions and stop them from being deleted from Wikipedia.
The reason I started these pages is because I have a special interest in Mobile VoIP in the developing world and 1legcall created by TalkFree Inc. is one of the most popular mobile voip dialers in the Middle East.
I am a new wiki editor who is still learning how to best contribute to the Wikipedia community. I wanted to start small and had no intention of breaking wiki guidelines, but when I noticed that the article may not meet the general notability guidelines I wanted to add some more information to prove that 1legcall and TalkFree are worth being on Wikipedia. I realize now that those articles were published by Businesswire a PR firm.
BUT, I did use an article written by 3rd party source. (Article on TruVoIPBuzz.com mentioning TalkFree and 1legcall: http://truvoipbuzz.com/2010/08/talkfree-offers-cheap-voip-services/)
And I have a new Article written by Global Vision magazine mentioning TalkFree alongside Fring, Vopium, Jajah and others mentioned in Wikipedia's Mobile VoIP article: http://talkfree.com/_datasheets/mobileGrowth.pdf (page 2)
I made a mistake and I apologize. I am willing to make all the necessary changes needed to keep this article on Wikipedia. Please give me a second chance. Thank you.

Notability
1legcall has about 26000 Google hits. Another relatively little-known VoIP provider is deltathree (picked at random from the Mobile VoIP article), with 395000. Barablu has 189000. Well-known providers such as Fring and Nimbuzz have over 4 million. Noted without comment to assist decision-making - number of Google hits isn't a definitive factor. Advert
Can you please give an example of how this article is written like an advert? I even removed "inexpensive" from the article. User:Justin.ohanessian (talk) 2:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
Article Issues
This article uses wikipedia articles as references, the other references are all PR sites, blogs and self published material. This also had older article issues from 2010 and 2012 that were removed without being improved or being fixed, OR discussed on the talk page in detail. Jooojay (talk) 08:15, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
- Someone changed the date of the notability tag again, I was unable to undo the change at this point. So instead I added the most recent last date of July 2014. Jooojay (talk) 02:54, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
Nokia Service?
The page states that it's developed by another developer than Nokia, yet it's listed as a Nokia service, this doesn't seem right. --Lumia930uploader (talk) 15:02, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
